CYSO and My Morning Jacket at Lollapalooza

We are happy to announce that on August 5 th My Morning Jacket will perform with the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras at one the country's largest music festivals. In the spirit of their monumental collaboration with the Boston Pops, My Morning Jacket is helping to bring classical music to the masses at this year's Lollapalooza festival in Grant's Park, Chicago. We are thrilled to be performing with the band whose signature angelic, echoing vocals and transcendental melodies will be bolstered by our gifted young musicians.

Of the festival, My Morning Jacket vocalist Jim James says, "The Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra! It is hard to even think of them as "youth." Their playing is so "grown-up" and professional. They hit with diamond-like precision. Pow! I have enjoyed performing with them and look forward to doing it again - Lollapalooza-style! BAM!"

The CYSO is honored to be a part of this monumental collaboration. We hope to see you there supporting the orchestra and band as they rock Lollapalooza!
