CYSO receives First Place ASCAP Award

The Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras was the recipient of a First Place ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming. These awards are presented each year to honor orchestras that program contemporary pieces which challenge the audience, build the repertoire, and strengthen support for American composers. The award was presented on June 17 th at the American Symphony Orchestra League's 60 th National Conference in Washington , D.C.
