Bill Moeller is president and chief executive officer of UnitedHealthcare in Illinois, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group. In Illinois, UnitedHealthcare serves over 900,000 individuals from large and small group employers and the Medicaid-eligible population. Bill joined UnitedHealthcare in 2001.

His career began at Citicorp, followed by over six years at First Chicago, where he was executive vice president of the North American Banking Group. Subsequently, Bill served as executive vice president and president and chief operating officer in other financial services companies. He was also president and chief executive officer of Sanwa Business Credit Corporation in Chicago.
