J. Laurence Costin is Vice Chairman of CCC Information Services Inc., a Chicago based $200+ million company that provides advanced software, communications systems, Internet and wireless-enabled technology solutions to the automotive claims and collision repair industries. As the largest provider of these services in the United States, CCC's clients include 350 insurance companies, 22,000 collision repair facilities, and a range of other industry participants. Mr. Costin is a founder of the company, which was established in late 1980. Prior to CCC, Mr. Costin was a Senior Vice President with Seligman and Latz, Inc., a Fortune 500 New York based corporation that manages out-sourced leased operations in retail establishments throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. He began his career with Marshall Field and Company in Operations management.

Mr. Costin joined the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra's Board of Directors in 2005. In so doing, he is continuing a 40+ year commitment to cultural, civic and educational organizations whose services are youth oriented and on whose boards he has served. These include, among others, the Chicago Junior Association of Commerce and Industry; Junior Achievement; I-CAR Education Foundation, of which he was a founding member and president and now services as a Lifetime Trustee Emeritus; and the Westmoreland Country Club Education Foundation, of which he was a founding member and its first president.

Mr. Costin is a graduate of the University of Chicago. He has a daughter and son and four grandchildren, and resides in Chicago.
