administrative staff :: Joshua Simonds, general manager

Joshua Simonds holds a master's degree in arts management from American University ( Washington, D.C. ) and a Bachelor of Arts in music from California State University, Long Beach. Before coming to CYSO, Joshua was the Operations Assistant for the Long Beach Symphony ( Long Beach, CA ) and spent two years as the Orchestra Personnel and Operations Manager for the American University Symphony Orchestra ( Washington, DC ). While in Washington, he also performed as a percussionist with ensembles such as the East/West Steel Drum Ensemble and the Bach Sinfonia. Joshua began work with the CYSO at the start of the 2003-2004 season and oversees all orchestras, activities and day to day operations of the CYSO.
