CYSO has enjoyed a rich tradition of international touring.  Professionally managed tours provide CYSO students unparalleled experiences and opportunities to perform in venues rich in history and tradition. In the last few years, CYSO students have delighted audiences at Smetana Hall in Prague, Czech Republic; The Frederick Chopin Conservatory of Music in Warsaw, Poland; the Filharmonia in Wrocław, Poland; the Rudolfinum's Dvorák Hall in Prague; Carnegie Hall and in the world famous Gewandhaus in Leipzig, Germany.

In June of 2009, the Symphony Orchestra will travel to South America to visit the cities of Buenos Aires, La Plata and Rosario, Argentina as well as Montevideo, Uruguay.

2009 CYSO Friends' Tour

CYSO's Symphony Orchestra will be touring Argentina and Uruguay from June 16 - 28, 2009.  We would love for you to join us on this exciting endeavor!

If you are interested in participating in the South American CYSO Friends' Tour, please download and send in the Friends' Tour Form and non-refundable deposit no later than October 1, 2008.

My CYSO Story

The energy present at the first rehearsal of the year is palpable.  I see the long line of kids jockeying for a chance to find out where they are sitting in the orchestra.
