The newest of CYSO's core programs, Accelerando Strings, is a string orchestra for students in grades 7 - 12. Under the direction of Conductor Daniella Valdez, this orchestra focuses on technique, basic string repertoire, musicianship and presentation skills. Members get the opportunity to share their experiences as part of the ensemble, as well as background information about the pieces they perform during two unique "Informances" during the season.
