CYSO Masterclasses

CYSO’s Masterclass Series brings together world renowned musicians and instrumental students of all ages from throughout the Midwest. Masterclasses are free and open to the public and offer not only a meaningful experience to the students and artists, but to the audience as well.

Each year’s Masterclass Series begins with “Getting into College 101”. All are welcome to join this panel discussion in September to find out everything you want to know about the college admissions and music audition process... but didn't know to ask. The panel will consist of college admissions officers, financial aid experts and faculty & staff of some of the finest area Universities and Music Schools.

All Masterclasses are free and open to the public and take place in Curtiss Hall (10th floor) of the Fine Arts Building (410 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago).
