Danny Taubenheim, SO trumpet, won second place in the Senior Solo Division at the 2009 International Trumpet Guild. In the competition, Danny performed two pieces: the first movement of Henri Tomasi's Concerto for Trumpet and Otto Ketting's Intrada. The competition was held May 28-29th at the ITG annual convention in Harrisburg, PA.
