Danny Taubenheim, SO trumpet, won second place in the High School Solo Division at the 2009 National Trumpet Competition. Danny played the third movement of Eino Tamberg's Concerto for Trumpet in the competition, which was held March 12-15th at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.
